Mobile health management made easy for all

The TeleMedCare Clinical Monitoring Unit (CMU) is an integrated tele-health platform for the assisted self-management of health and chronic disease at home, in the community, and in hospital-based healthcare settings. 

Incorporating pulse oximetry, ECG, spirometry, blood pressure and biometric sensing, the CMU demonstrates a high degree of sensor and peripheral integration. Added to this are the key elements of tele-health: touch screen LCD, webcam, wireless networking and modem.

At the current time in the UK, 17.5 million adults may be living with a chronic disease, approx 80% of these cases being in the over 60s. It is estimated that 45% of those may suffer from more than one condition. The figures are similar in all developed countries and are growing. With this new monitoring platform, TeleMedCare is addressing the concerns physicians have about effectively managing their chronically diseased patient’s health on a day-to-day basis.
